Keep It Local Maine is a bi-monthly community-based magazine that shares local businesses with the people around them. Our first issue was published in November 2014 and was focused on the Saco, Biddeford, and Old Orchard Beach area. Since then, we have expanded to add issues for Scarborough and another for the South Portland and Cape Elizabeth area.
The idea started out as a way for the husband and wife team of Todd and Kim Regoulinsky to pool their talents into a new company that would share their love of local businesses with others. Kim had been a small business owner for over 15 years, running an automotive advertising company that focused on direct mail advertising and sales campaigns. Todd had grown up in a home where his father had owned his own vending machine business for almost 20 years. Working with small businesses was in the blood.
Each issue is mailed directly into homes within their respective communities and also distributed for free in local businesses. Issues also have an online presence here as well as our social media feeds.
If you want to learn more about distribution and advertising with us, we can definitely help with that!
